Dear Sirs,
MedicNRG is one of leading companies of Medical and Dental advanced devices. As a part of our new research we are interested to produce a special stainless steel cable, as described bellow.
Stainless Steel cable requirements:
The final cable assembly should be made of 2 kinds of cables:
A) Internal cable.
B) External cable.
A) Internal cable:
1. Stainless steel, 0.2 mm outer diameter (Ø) very flexible cable that can work for 5 minutes at least without breaking at 30,000 RPM rotating while bended to "L" shape (90 degree). The Radius of the angle that is bent should be approximately 3mm.
2. The cable should be flexible, but also strong enough to be inserted into the external cable (B) with 0.25 mm inner diameter (Ø) and should be used as a flexible shaft.
3. The stainless steel MUST be medical grade.
4. Your recommendation for kind of stainless steel, condition and no. of strands will be much appreciated.
B) External cable:
1. Stainless Steel, 0.20, 0.25 or 0.30 mm outer diameter (Ø) wire wrapped around the internal cable (A) (like a coil) with 0.1 mm (+ 0.05 mm) spacing between each coil (wrap). ( We would like to test 3 different possibilities).
2. The internal diameter of this "coil" should be 0.25 mm (+ 0.02 mm) so that will be possible to insert the internal cable through it.
3. This cable should work for 5 minutes at least without breaking at 30,000 RPM rotating while bended to "L" shape (90 degree). The Radius of the angle that is bent should be approximately 3mm.
Actually, the whole assembly should work at these conditions.
4. The stainless steel MUST be medical grade.
5. Your recommendation for kind of stainless steel, conditions and any additional information will be much appreciated.
I was very impressed of your capabilities while visiting your Website and believe you can advise us what kind of wire or cable we should use according to our requirements, and what kind of equipment is recommended for this application.
Your recommendation will be much appreciated and I hope we can have long term cooperation.
Awaiting for your earliest reply.
Kind regards,
Zvika Ben-Joseph
