Vehicle Height Limit Bump Bar Spring

I have not been able to locate a Vehicle Height Restriction Barrier (see picture for a typical configuration) that incorporates a spring connection between the main structure and the bump bar. I have only been able to source systems that use a chain link support for the bump bar or a rigid steel attachment. The former system does not provide sufficient resistance to entry and the later is too stiff that damage to the main support structure can occur and/or reattachment of the bump bar support is required (costly and time consuming). I thought that a spring attachment would work great if it is sufficiently stiff to cause the bump bar to damage a car should the driver decide to move forward, while flexible enough to stop the supporting structure from being damaged. Is anyone aware of a suitable spring product for this application? Thank you for your help.
